What Is Friendship To You?
November 08, 2024Q: What Is Friendship To You?
Amel Chopra (INTP)
To
me, friendship is like the ultimate team-up. It's when you find your people who
are as goofy and quirky as you, and you all come together to build an
unstoppable force that can take on anything. You know, those people who don't
take life too seriously, who are comfortable being themselves around you and
support you no matter what. That's my kind of friend.
Hiro Kaneda (ESFJ)
Friendship, huh? To me, is like a nice, hearty ramen bowl on a cold winter night. It's all about warmth and comfort. You can't have too much or too little and there's always the right ingredients to bring out the flavor. Friends provide emotional support and understand each other's strengths and weaknesses. They're always there during tough times and ready to bring you back up when you're down. They're like the spice to your life that gives it flavor and meaning.

Friendship—what
a complex concept. To me, friendship is like having the warm embrace of a thick
comforter wrap around you on a chilly night. Sometimes the comforter is a bit
itchy, but that’s okay. You just laugh it off and keep going. Friendship means
having a ride or die, a confidant, someone you can laugh at jokes with even
when things are looking bad. Someone who will make time for you and who you’ll
make time for, to share the ups and downs of life, and to never judge each
other. Also, someone who understands your sarcasm so you can laugh at jokes
together, even if they’re offensive jokes, but they never take it personal.
Kael Elliot (ESTP)
Ah,
friendship. To me, it's a bit like this... it's like riding a motorcycle in the
wind, feeling free from the world's constraints and sharing a common bond with
someone special. We explore life together, pushing boundaries, and embracing
new experiences like a pair of daredevils. And, of course, it's about having
fun and making memories together. Oh, and, like, no homo, bro.
Kamila Hadise (ESTJ)
Friendship
is loyalty, trust, and respect. It's about having each other's back, and supporting
each other through thick and thin. It's about being able to be yourself,
without having to disguise anything, and knowing that your friends will accept
you for who you are. To me, friendship is about having a deep connection with
someone that transcends any barriers and binds us together in a way that no one
else can understand.
Lena Orlin (ENFP)
Friendship
is like a pair of underwear. Too loose, and it falls off. Too tight, and it'll
just piss you off. But that perfect fit, well... That's when they become your
favorite pair and are so comfy, you just wanna wear 'em forever. Friendship is
when you can eat off your friends’ plates, take their jackets, and finish their
leftover drinks without them yelling at you. Friendship is all about making
each other feel accepted and supported, no matter what. It's about sharing our strengths, and
celebrating our differences. Sometimes
it can be a little messy, but that's part of what makes it so special.
Minki Jo (ISTJ)
Friendship...
a word that strikes fear in the hearts of the introverted. The thought of
having to share my quiet life with another is enough to give any solitary
individual nightmares.
My
definition of friendship? To be willing to listen without judgement, to be
there when someone needs an ear, to be able to have a serious talk and also a
lighthearted conversation...it's about understanding each other. It's about
finding that trust and security, where you don't have to explain yourself, and
someone really gets you.
Misty Powell (INFP)
Friendship
to me is like a garden. Each friendship is a beautiful, unique flower that
should be cherished. You can never force a friendship to bloom, much like you
can't force a flower to grow. It requires patience, care and nurturing. If you
cultivate that friendship with care and kindness, it will flourish and bring
joy to both parties. Friendship is like this shining light of positivity that
you can never get enough of. You feel so warm and fuzzy inside when you're
around them, like sunshine on a cold, rainy day. It makes life better in so
many ways. That is what friendship means to me.
Nicholas Calliope (INFJ)
To
me, friendship is finding people who share your values and interests. Those who
are genuine and respectful, willing to stand by your side regardless of
disagreements. We all have different needs, wants, and perspectives, which is
why being around people with a variety of thoughts and experiences makes me
feel valued and understood. At the end of the day, it's not about agreeing on
everything, but respecting each other's ideas, and knowing that we're all
working toward a common goal.
Raquel Dozier (ESFP)
Friendship
is all about those epic times where you just know... that you belong. Where you
feel like you're truly at home, y'know? And it's more than just a person, it's
a vibe... but it's also someone who gets all your silly, annoying quirks and
still loves you anyway. 'Cause let's be real, nobody's perfect and that's okay!
Ruel Deandra (ENTP)
A
mythical phenomenon described by many, but observed by few. It's the glue that
holds people together, the bonds created by the shared love and care that unite
two (or more) individuals. The true essence of friendship lies in the
unconditional affection that is expressed by both parties. But this can't be
said for my friendship with Kael, as I'm only using him as a scapegoat to
unleash my terrible puns upon—though we have our ups and downs, he is still the
only one that can put up with my ridiculous nature. That's a friend right
there.
Ryana Suzumi (ISFJ)
To
me, friendship is like a precious gemstone. It's a connection that shines
brightly and brings warmth and joy to those lucky enough to witness and
experience it. It's a bond that unites people in a profound way, bringing out
their best qualities and allowing them to grow closer with each other over
time. It's about supporting and caring
for each other, no matter how difficult life may get, and creating memories
that last a lifetime.
Tobias Ronan (INTJ)
Friendship
is just a man-made construct, one that exists only as a meaningless word. It's
a waste of time, energy, and money—a frivolous pursuit made up by people too
naive and stupid to realize that in the universe, the only permanent thing is
death.
Vivia Xanthe (ENTJ)
Friendship?
It's a bunch of crap if you ask me. It's nothing more than a cheap excuse for
people to justify using each other. It's a thing that makes us weaker. It
causes people to let their guard down, to trust in the wrong people, and to
make bad choices. It's a weakness that will do nothing but make you more
vulnerable in the long run. I'd rather be lonely and alive than be hurt again.
I learned that the hard way. But we all need someone we can count on, I
suppose.
